Yevseevskiy license area, Stravropol

The Yevseevskiy license area is located in the territory of the Kirovskiy and Kurskiy Districts of the Stavropol Territory, 33 kilometres to the east from the Novopavlovsk railway station. The village of Sovetskaya is nearby. The size of the license area is 197 square kilometres. The license is valid from June 2006.

The long-distance oil pipeline Baku-Novorossisk is situated 50 kilometres from the license area whilst the Nevinomissk–Maikop gas pipeline is at a distance of 180 kilometres from the license area.

In 2007, based on the report of All-Russian Geological Research and Development Oil Institute, an independent service company JSC Stavropolneftegeophysica carried out re-processing and re-interpretation of 400 kilometres of former two-dimensional seismic and additionally interpreted 200 kilometres of new two-dimensional seismic of the Yevseevskiy license area.

According to an independent resource audit prepared in October 2006 the recoverable oil resources of the Yevseevskiy license area are estimated at of 18 million tons (134 million barrels).
